Sheet Metal Installer

Job Summary

We are looking for experienced sheet metal installers, sheet metal shop workers with experience with metal shears and brakes, and aluminum canopy installers.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • 1-4 years minimum experience.

  • Detail Oriented – quality and precision focused.

  • Must possess basic math skills to include but not limited to adding, subtracting, multiplication, division, geometry and algebra for the purpose of calculating material fabrication.

  • Knowledge in use of precision measuring instruments and the application of such instruments. Instruments should include but not limited to calipers, ID and OD micrometers.

  • General mechanical assembly or fabrication skills.

  • Forklift experience needed.

  • Responsible for keeping equipment and work area clean and orderly and perform basic preventive maintenance functions on equipment.

  • Ability to monitor machine sounds to identify and diagnose changes in order to take appropriate action.

  • Confers with supervisors or programmers to resolve machine malfunctions and production errors and to obtain approval to continue production.

  • Completes all required safety procedures prior to and during operations.

  • Assist as required or assigned throughout the facility. 

  • May perform other duties as assigned by management.

  • Suggest and implement improvements.

  • Physical hazards from moving equipment and machine parts

  • Breathing fumes, dust and mist

  • Skin exposure to chemicals associated with manufacturing

  • Work inside and outside the facility

  • Constantly required to lift up to 20-55 pounds.
